Esophageal perforation
- Two weeks ago first pneumodilation without complications
- During pneumodilation a defect is observed


Esophageal perforation from 40-42cm in the distal esophagus.
Treatment with VAC-Stent was initiated
- Treatment duration: 7 days
- VAC-Stent cycles: 1
- Vacuum settings: -125mmHg on day of placement and -75mmHg from the next day on
- During treatment, the patient had a full liquid diet


After one week of VAC-Stent treatment, the defect had closed endoscopically.
